Ms. Li holds a Master’s degree in Music and Dance Studies from Inner Mongolia Normal University and has eight years of teaching experience specializing in violin and viola. During her graduate studies, she achieved excellent academic results with a GPA of 4.86 and ranked among the top five in her program. Her coursework included Musicology, Art Studies, Music Analysis, Polyphonic Music, Music Appreciation, Aural Skills, Piano Accompaniment, Conducting & Choir, and Western & Chinese Music History, giving her a strong and comprehensive musical foundation. She studied under Professor Mi Xue during her undergraduate years and Professor Song Boer during her graduate program. Ms. Li began formal violin training at the age of eight and later added viola during high school. She has extensive performance and teaching experience, previously serving as a primary instructor at a music studio in Kunming. Since 2016, she has focused on online education, accumulating a wealth of domestic and international experience in one-on-one lessons and guided practice. Her teaching style emphasizes guidance rather than mechanical repetition. She excels at motivating students, helping them build intrinsic interest in practicing while maintaining a classroom atmosphere that is both engaging and disciplined. Ms. Li pays close attention to intonation, rhythm, and musical expression, and she integrates relevant music theory and background knowledge into repertoire study to help students develop well-rounded musicianship.
