Maia is an outreach mathematician who specializes in mathematical enrichment and teaching advanced mathematical concepts at an intuitive level to young students. Having graduated top of her class with a bachelor's in mathematics in 2024, Maia spent the past year educating students of all ages and levels at the National Museum of Mathematics in New York City. With several years of tutoring experience, Maia pushes her students to view mathematical understanding not as the end goal, but rather as a stepping stone to wonder and curiosity.
